Jessica Fancy-Landry Selected as Federal Liberal Candidate for South Shore—St. Margarets

South Shore—St. Margarets, [January 30th, 2025] — The Liberal Party of Canada is excited to announce Jessica Fancy-Landry as its candidate for the South Shore—St. Margarets riding in the upcoming federal election. A dedicated leader and community advocate, Jessica is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of families across the region.

With 16 years of educating South Shore youth and directing $2.1M in rural community grants as Board Chair of the Rural Communities Foundation, her leadership as a rural education researcher and advocate earned multiple service awards, including recognition for her work with youth sports and the SSRCE International Women's Day Leadership Award. She is a strong proponent of sustainable economic growth, environmental protection, and equitable access to essential services.

"Through my education research and community development work, I've seen how federal policies directly impact South Shore families. I'm running because our communities deserve an experienced advocate who understands both the challenges and opportunities ahead," said Fancy-Landry. "As a lifelong member of this community, I am driven to ensure that every resident has the opportunities and resources they need to thrive. Together, we can build a prosperous and sustainable future for our region."
