- Tackling Food Insecurity: Co-creator of the Zero Hunger campaign, raising nearly $500K to address food insecurity and child poverty.
- Educational Initiatives: Developing a grant application process for schools to establish "free stores." Member of SSRCE's Instructional Leaders in Assessment and Instruction Team
- Leadership and Standards: Serving on key-boards to improve standards in health and nutrition.
- Community Advocacy: As the Board Chair for the RCFNS Philanthropic Foundation, Jessica has helped adjudicate $2.1M back into NS communities.
